WordPress Website Care Plans

a smart and easy solution for your website’s maintenance, security, and support

Back in high school, when we got our first driver’s licenses, my best friend’s dad gave us a solid piece of advice that I never forgot:
Take care of your car, and it will take care of you.

Just like your car, your website is an investment that needs attention and upkeep to ensure it runs smoothly for years to come.
But let’s face it, maintenance isn’t the fun part of having a website.  In fact, it can be downright confusing.
Let me take care of it for you with one of my website care plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need a website care plan? Can't I do all of this myself?

The better question to ask is: Do you want to?
To learn more about how website care plans can free up your time, protect your investment, and give you peace of mind, get my free guide, Five Essentials for Keeping Your Website Safe, here.

What is included in my monthly support time?

Anything you can fit into 30 or 60 minutes, depending on your plan!  Most clients use this time to make minor edits to their sites – changing some text, fonts, colors, adding images, etc.

If you go over your allotted minutes, I will let you know beforehand and you can choose whether to hold off or be billed hourly ($60/hour for total plan clients and $75/hour for basic plan clients).

If you need a major upgrade or change to your site, I will send a separate proposal and quote for that work.

Does my unused support time roll over?

In order to ensure my availability for all clients, your unused support time does not roll over.

What happens if my website is hacked or goes down?

The whole purpose behind my website care plans is preventative care, so I hope to prevent anything from happening.

However, in case your website gets hacked or goes down, you will have a choice between communicating with your web hosting yourself, or using your monthly support time for me to communicate with your web hosting on your behalf to get it back up and running.

I cannot promise your website will not be hacked, but I can promise I will do everything in my power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with a backup.

Can I be on one of your website care plans if you didn't build my website?

Yes, my website care plans are for anyone with a WordPress website.

However, if I didn’t build your site, I require a website care plan audit in order to familiarize myself with your website and make any recommendations before starting your care plan.  This audit is a one-time fee of $299.

What if I change my mind and decide to cancel?

No problem!  Simply e-mail me to let me know you wish to cancel, and you will not receive any further invoices.  Your care plan will expire at the end of the month.
